PARKING & OTHER LOCATIONS

Please note: there is no parking next to the woodland field and the closest parking is behind the High Street in Dingwall from where the field is only a short walk. Please do not park anywhere in the residential areas next to the field. If you have questions around access, please contact us.

The access to get into the field by foot will be through the passage between Macrae Crescent and Macrae Grove. From here it is only a short walk, however, please be aware that this is not a tarmac path.

There are no toilet facilities on site so please use the public toilets marked on the map below.

Have a look at the map below which marks all the locations you need to know:

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO

Please be aware that dates are subject to change last minute due to bad weather, please check our Facebook page, Instagram page, or website on the morning of planting days to make sure the session has not been postponed.

Please be aware of the risk of slipping in wet or icy conditions on planting days, and wear appropriate footwear to limit the risk of this.

We hope you will join us for some of these planting sessions, to get together and active during the colder months of the year and make a lasting impact for the community in the town, neighbouring villages, and wildlife by creating a new woodland. And of course, to have some fun!

The volunteer planting days have been made possible by funding from Scottish Forestry, Community Woodland Association and Scottish Community Alliance.
