This wonderful video shows drone footage of the community woodland field prior to tree planting, taken by Graeme Mackay.
In the video you can see the 7,200 mounds marking where the trees will be planting this winter 22/23. You can see in the video the areas without these mounds which mark the path that will make a loop around the woodland, and the area that will be left unplanted to create a pond and for other future use. In the video you can also see the 70 trees at the top of the field that were planted this March 2022 for the Queen’s Green Canopy, and plenty of beautiful footage of Ben Wyvis and Dingwall.
